Vintage IT Services is one the fastest growing IT Management firms in Central Texas.

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our, hardworking and dynamic team.

We need someone with Real, Actual Working and Proven Consulting experience dealing directly with clients on all their IT requirements. This will include, but not limited to; installing, configuring, trouble shooting, understanding business applications and proactive solution recommendations in the following areas:

  • Windows based Server and Desktop Hardware
  • Windows desktops operating systems All versions
  • Windows Server OS — 2008, 2012
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange Server 2007 – 2013
  • A/D migrations (2003 to 2012, 2008 to 2012, etc)
  • Exchange migrations (2003 up to 2013, coexistence scenarios as well as “Forklift” scenarios)
  • AppAssure, Veeam, Commvault and, or other related Backup software
  • Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Sonic Wall, others. Cisco experience is very important.
  • Switching hardware
  • Experience deploying and managing VMWare vSphere 5.0+ environments, including Storage and Network design/deployment and management.
  • Ability to resolve issues at their root causes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to consult with clients & design/implement technical solutions that will help them achieve their business goals is highly desirable.
  • Mobile devices
  • Wireless routers
  • DNS, TCPIP
  • MCSE, CCNA Certs are highly desired

The ideal candidate would have several years’ experience working with these technologies and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. He/She must have excellent client communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. The ability to explain complex technologies so that clients can understand them is a must. This is a high exposure position; professional appearance and manner is of utmost importance.

We are looking for a full time helpdesk person that will work in our Downtown Austin office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to first-line telephone support and various other related tasks such as software installs/updates, repairs of computers and laptops, configuration of network hardware, and software. This is an in-office position with no travel required.

As a Sales Representatives, individuals will work closely with new customers and our internal technical service team to solicit and onboard new clients. The Sales Rep will help grow and promote the sale of our Managed Services and Cloud Services offerings. 

Sales Representatives are the first line of contact with all new customers along with a potential Sales Engineer.

Sales Representative Job Duties:

  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Generate revenue by soliciting and bringing on new clients
  • Understanding our Managed services and Cloud service offerings
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
  • Provide some technical information when soliciting new accounts, building rapport, drafting proposals and delivering proposals
  • Enter new sales opportunities into our CRM and keeping track of activities and next steps.

Responsibilities

  • Close and grow sales through professional communication
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
  • Identify and resolve new prospect concerns, recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Work with the technical team to ensure customer project requirements are met
  • Maintain records of new customer communications and contact information as required
  • Work with the Sales Engineer and Technical service team to draft proposals
  • Prepare responses to RFP’s (request for proposals) and RFI’s (request for information)
  • Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent client information and future plans or projects for the first 6 months of the contract. Be aware of client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed
  • Working knowledge of our CRM and Quoting tools
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
  • Maintains knowledge of current Vintage IT Services solutions and offerings
  • Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals per management’s request
  • Send legal documents (contracts) to customers and send signed copies to HQ for filing
  • Responsible for setting the customer’s expectations during the sales cycle

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or three to five years of proven sales or marketing experience
